ECEP
Ecep is the oldest inhabitant of the village. His grandfather was the founder and when he died, the village was divided under his children. Ecep used to be a farmer and grew several vegetables and fruits on his land. Because of his old age, he only uses the land now to grow cassava. Growing cassava is a low maintenance job. It only needs to be harvested once a year and can be pulled out of the ground very easily. His main buyers are the neighbouring villages since it’s a popular fried dish in more underdeveloped areas.Ecep, 89 years old, Punclut Village
